Mary Ellen Doty, President

Mary Ellen Doty was born and raised on a Montana cattle ranch. She has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years, exclusively working in rural and remote sites in Alaska and Montana. Because of her work in these areas, she understands the difficulty of recruiting and retaining quality medical practitioners in rural and remote clinic sites. This knowledge inspired her to create a business that truly serves the needs of rural and remote areas. She still travels to rural clinic sites to do direct nurse practitioner services, although much less frequently since the inception of Wilderness Medical Staffing.
