We have a need for clinic coverage in one of Alaska's “must see” destinations for the September 1 through October 14. Alaska Licensed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants needed to provide medical care in Southeastern Alaska.
The advanced practice provider (PA/NP) will be responsible for primary and emergency care of patients in a small, rural facility located in a beautiful & historic town. This is a 40 hour per week clinic position, and will shared emergency call.
DATES: Sept 1 – Oct 14, 2023; (travel days in addition to listed dates)
OVERVIEW:
- Locum Tenens
- Outpatient Clinic + Shared Call
- Providers will work 40 hours/week
- Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM + Saturday 10AM – 6PM
- Call Schedule: 2-3 nights per week; shared with other medical providers w/assistance available during major medical events
- Patient volume: 2-20 patients/day. Patient volumes are higher during cruise ship season
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
- Pay: $750/day, 7 days a week + $150/on-call shift, + paid travel days (same daily rate) at the beginning and end of assignment.
- 1099 contractor position
- Medical malpractice insurance provided
- Housing and travel expenses included
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Alaska License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- ATLS & DOT certification preferred
- Active DEA Registration
- Minimum of two (2) years emergency medicine experience required
