We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide locum coverage during the holidays at a rural critical access hospital in central Montana. This role involves serving as the sole provider, covering the emergency department, inpatient rounds, and long-term care, with occasional clinic responsibilities.
The position is ideal for a provider with strong emergency room experience who can work independently in a high-acuity setting. This is a unique opportunity to support a busy facility during the holidays while experiencing the rural beauty of Montana.
DATES:
12/24 at 8am thru 12/26 at 8am
PAY: $97/hr for Direct Care (Call Back) and $65/hr for On-Call
- Schedule starts 0800 and ends 0800
- Emergency room coverage with inpatient rounding
- Housing and travel included!
- Malpractice insurance included.
- This is a 1099 position.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Minimum 2 years of rural emergency experience and hospital acute care experience as an NP or PA required.
- Experience working in a remote Critical Access Hospital preferred.
- Must be comfortable working solo or minimal support staff.
- Passion for remote healthcare!
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Montana NP or PA license required.
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS and active DEA required.
