Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: September 1st – December 31st, 2025
Compensation: Hourly Rate, Overtime, On-Call and Call-Back pay!

Key Job Details: 

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; shared on-call
  • Compensation Breakdown: 
    • $95.00 hourly rate
    • $142.50 hourly overtime rate
    • $142.50 hourly call-back rate
    • $225.00 per on-call shift

Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 6 per day
  • On-Call Details: 
    • On-call for emergencies, shared call with another provider
    • You can expect to be on-call frequently during this assignment – however, call-back is typically light

Position Requirements: 

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
  • Active BLS, ACLS, & PALS
  • ATLS preferred, but not required
  • Active DEA registration
  • COVID vaccination with booster
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency experience as a NP
  • Must be able to handle any emergencies that come through the door. Medevac and patient care stabilization experience is essential, including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
  • Experience working in a remote clinic with minimal support staff, 2 years of experience is highly preferred
  • Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
