NP / PA Locum Opportunity in Lovely Community in SE Alaska, Great Pay in an Amazing Setting!
Practice in Beautiful Southeast Alaska
4889J We currently have a need for locum tenens physician assistant or nurse practitioner in Southeast Alaska. The advanced practice provider (PA/NP) will be responsible for primary and emergency care of patients in a small, rural facility. This position will require you to treat patients in clinic as well as take shared emergency on-call. This is an in-clinic, 40-hour-per-week position, and will share on-call for emergency with other medical providers.
DATES: September 1, 2025-December 31, 2025
OVERVIEW:
- Locum Tenens
- Outpatient Clinic + Shared On-Call
- Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM
- Estimated Call Schedule: One (1) night per week and one (1) weekend per month.
- Patient volume (clinic) 12 patients per day
- Patient volume (call) 1-2 patients per call shift
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
- Pay: $95/hour for the first 8 hours/day + $142.50/hour (OT) for anything over 8 hours/day; $225 per on call shift; $142.50/hour callback
- 1099 contractor position
- Medical malpractice insurance provided

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License with State of Alaska
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- ATLS preferred
- Active DEA Registration
- Two (2) years of experience in emergency medicine
