Locum Tenens MD/DO – Emergency & Inpatient Care | Western Montana | Make 15k+/week!
5060S – We have an exciting opportunity for a Physician in rural, Western Montana. In this full-spectrum position, you'll be providing high-quality care to both inpatient and emergency room patients. Located in a historical town in Montana, you'll likely see wild horses roaming nearby, and you'll have exceptional access to outdoor activities such as fishing, rafting, and hiking. Location: Western Montana
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: August 1st – November 7th, 2025 (potential to extend)
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Key Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days) – Week on / Week off rotations
- Compensation Details: $180.00 hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Inpatient: Averages 7-10
- Patient Volume, ER: Averages 8
- On-Call Details: Provides support via phone call to PAs on the night shift
Position Requirements:
- Active Montana State Physician (MD) license
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2-years of solo full-spectrum CAH emergency experience
- Inpatient experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be willing to provide support via phone call to PAs on the night shift
- Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
