Compensation: Daily Rate + Per Diem + Incentive Pay
Key Job Details:
- Assignments:
- Specific rotation dates are flexible – work around your personal life!
- 2-4 week-long rotations are preferred
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Shared emergency call after hours and on weekends
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $900.00 daily rate (earned every day on assignment)
- $62.00 per diem rate (earned every day on assignment)
- $225.00 incentive pay (earned every day on assignment)
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 5-10 per day
- On-Call Volumes: Variable, can be heavy at times
- Staffing Mix: Solo provider assignments but typically health aides are on -staff; Physician consultations available by phone 24/7
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Active BLS & ACLS
- ATLS & PALS highly preferred, but not required; CALS accepted
- Active DEA registration
- Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Emergency Medicine experience
- OB experience highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum emergency experience
- Direct experience with medivac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
- Alaska bush experience highly preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
