Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Date Range: December 19th, 2025 – February 9th, 2026 (assignment may be split amongst multiple providers)
Key Job Details:
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Call and No Weekends!
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $102.00 hourly rate (40 hrs/week)
- 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure)
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 8-10 per day
- Staffing Mix: Physicians, APPs, MAs
Position Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Active Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification
- Active BLA, ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- COVID vaccination
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in primary and urgent care
- Experience working in primary care with all ages
- Experience in general gynecology
- Experience with simple procedures (suturing, I&D)
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
