Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: October 1, 2025-December 31, 2025,
Compensation Breakdown: Hourly Rate, Overtime, On-Call and Call-Back pay!

Key Job Details:
- Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts with call; 1 day on 1 day off.
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Compensation Breakdown:
- $95.00 hourly rate
- $142.50 hourly overtime rate
- $142.50 hourly call-back rate
- $225.00 per on-call shift
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: 16 per day on average, mix of UC/EM
- On-Call Details: On-call for emergencies, shared on-call
Position Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- Active BLS & ACLS & PALS
- ATLS preferred, but not required
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum emergency experience
- Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
- Alaska bush experience highly preferred
