Locum NP/PA - Primary Care - Rural Southcentral AK

06364S - We're seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 3-6 month long locum tenens assignment in beautiful Southcentral Alaska. This assignment is located on the road system, offering the best of Alaska - rural surroundings with convenient access to modern amenities. Location: Southcentral Alaska

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Start Date: ASAP - 3-6 month long commitment highly preferred

Compensation: (make $50,000+ in 3 months!)

• $106.00 hourly rate
• $159.00 overtime hourly rate
• $159.00 holiday hourly rate (limited holidays apply)
• $106.00 hourly travel rate: 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure), paid 8 hours each day at the regular hourly rate

Schedule:

• 3-6 month long commitment highly preferred
• Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• No Weekends
• No Call

Responsibilities:

• Patient Volume: Averages 11-14 per day
• Staffing Mix: Multiple APPs, Supervising Physician support, standard clinic support staff

 Position Requirements:

• Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Board Certification
• Active BLS
• Active DEA registration
• COVID vaccination
• Current Flu Shot
• Minimum 2-years of Primary Care experience
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
