APRN License Application

You must apply for your Idaho NP license online.

Fees

• Initial application: $176.50 total fees.
  • $118.25 application fee + $28.25 for fingerprint processing fee + $30.00 record verification
• Renewal application: $90.00

Timeline

Initial review typically happens within 3 weeks. PAs who submit a complete application typically see their license within 4-5 weeks of applying.

Term

Two years. Expires August 31st on odd years.

How to Start Your Application

1. Create your account if you don’t have one already. This will require your SSN but can be done in under two minutes.
2. Once you are logged into your portal, click the grey “Apply for License” button in the upper right-hand corner. Select the appropriate licensure option for yourself.
3. If you are applying for an APRN license, you must first apply for your RN license. You can do these at the same time but start your RN application first. If you are applying for endorsement of another state’s license you currently carry, select the option titled “LPN Endorsement Application”.
   1. Keep in mind, Idaho is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, so you do not need to apply for your RN license if you are already licensed in a Compact state.
