Create Your Own Schedule, Locum NP/PA’s Needed for 3 Week Rotations in Multiple Villages
4105D Multiple Communities within this System Need On-Going Coverage. Create Your Own Schedule and Offer Any Start Date, Book as Far Out as You like. Client would appreciate having providers who would like to rotate. Great Money, Make $900 per day for every day you’re in a village PLUS $250 per call shift. Rotating schedules can be 3-4 weeks, so offer what works for you, client is looking to achieve continuity of care in multiple villages. Start any time even if you’re availability isn’t immediate. Travel to and from home is paid at the daily rate, flights, housing, malpractice insurance are all covered.
We are looking to secure several Advance Practice Providers to cover several different villages which vary in population size. Some villages are solo sites, some have health aides or other APP’s who help with scheduled patients and share call. Providers must have emergency medicine experience, OB and Peds experience are preferred but not required.
The first rotation will include orientation at the main clinic, no call duties are required during orientation. Then orientation will continue with a short rotation for on the job training at one of the Sub Regional Clinics (SRC) which are located in the larger villages. All future rotations will be in one of the SRC’s, intent is to have provider return to the same SRC each rotation but can move if wish to do so.
Dates: Start upon completion of credentialing with ANTHC.
OVERVIEW For Village Positions:
- Locum Tenens
- Primary Care and Emergency Call
- 9:00-5:00 in clinic; shared call after hours, weekends and holidays
- 3-4 week rotations
- Patient Volume Averages 8-12per day
- No Pets
- 1099 Position
- Direct deposit 1st and 15th each month
COMPENSATION:
- $900 per day
- $250 per call shift – 1st or 2nd call
- Holidays are paid at 1.5 times daily rate
- Travel days at the beginning and end of the assignment paid at the daily rate
- Housing and travel expenses included and are arranged with provider’s approval
- Medical malpractice insurance provided
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License with State of Alaska
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- ATLS preferred
- Active DEA Registration
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in emergency and primary medicine
- Remote medical experience is highly preferred
