ATLS™ Provider Course

Wilderness Medical Staffing is inviting WMS providers to an ATLS™ Provider Course from May 19th-20th, 2023 in Walla Walla, WA. The ATLS™ (Advanced Trauma Life Support™) course will teach a systematic, concise approach to the care of a trauma patient.

ATLS™ was developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT) and will provide you with a safe and reliable method for immediate management of injured patients.

This is a 2-day full course (not the “hybrid” course ), offers 17 AMA Category 1 credits, and is instructed by excellent faculty of trauma surgeons.

If you’re a medical provider and need more educational resources on how to treat a trauma patient, this course is for you.

At Wilderness Medical Staffing, having life-saving trauma victim treatment experience and/or education is necessary to successfully assess and treat a patient in remote, wilderness locations.

Accommodations

You will need to secure your own accommodations for your time in Walla Walla. Please be aware that Walla Walla is a tourist destination with events happening during ATLS. We recommend booking your hotel as soon as possible if you’ll be attending ATLS.
