Locum NP – Primary Care – SE Alaska

Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: November start with ongoing rotation need (minimum 4-week rotations required)
Compensation: $15,000+ per month!
- $97.00 hourly rate
- $145.50 hourly overtime rate
- $145.50 hourly holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
- 2 paid travel days, paid 8 hours at the regular hourly rate (1 arrival, 1 departure)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- No Official Call – while rare, provider may occasionally assist with backup call in certain situations
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 10-18 patients per day
- Staffing Mix: 3 Physicians, 1 additional APP, RNs, Administrative and Support Staff
- Low to moderate acuity primary and urgent care with intermittent emergency stabilization
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Board Certified
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS
- ATLS preferred, not required
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
