05980B – We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who thrives working both Primary and Urgent care, and is interested in a Locum-Perm Opportunity. Job Type: Locum (1099) to Perm (W2)

Date Range: June 1st, 2026 and Ongoing

This is a Locum-to-Perm Opportunity!

1099 Compensation: 

  • $98.00 hourly rate
  • $147.00 hourly holiday rate (limited holidays apply)

Perm Compensation: Please inquire.

Schedule:

  • 4/10s schedule
  • No Call

Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Volume: Averages 15-20 per day
  • Staffing Mix: APP, MAs, Nursing staff, Administrative staff

Position Requirements: 

  • Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license 
  • Active BLS
  • ACLS & PALS preferred, but not required
  • Active DEA registration
  • COVID vaccination with booster
  • 5+ years experience working as an APP preferred
  • 3+ years experience working as an APP in a rural location required
  • Primary Care and Urgent Care experience required
  • Must be able to see a full range of ages for primary and urgent care needs
  • Experience working in women's health and pediatrics preferred
  • Experience in Epic EMR is preferred
  • Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
