Q: What is Wilderness Medical Staffing doing to screen providers for coronavirus (COVID-19)?
A: In response to COVID-19, Wilderness Medical Staffing has implemented a rigorous pre-assignment screening process for all providers. Prior to starting an assignment, every provider will complete, sign, and certify a thorough questionnaire and conduct an interview with our Chief Medical Officer.
Q: What if a provider does not meet the screening requirements?
A: If a provide is symptomatic or may have been in contact with infected persons, we will notify you and ask the provider to perform a 14-day self-quarantine before starting the assignment.
Q: How will Wilderness Medical Staffing address issues with assignments that arise during the COVID-19 outbreak?
A: Our team is available around the clock to take your calls and address any issues presented by this crisis.
Q: What if a provider contracts COVID-19 while on assignment?
A: If a provider needs to be quarantined, we will work with you to ensure a successful completion of quarantine requirements and clearance for returning to work.
Q: What if we need additional medical support at our site?
A: Wilderness Medical Staffing has an extensive database of excellent and compassionate medical providers. In the event you need additional support, we are standing by to help.
