Locum NP/PA – Primary Care – Rural Southcentral AK
05949S – We're seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 5-6 month long locum tenens assignment in beautiful Southcentral Alaska. This assignment is located on the road system, offering the best of Alaska – rural surroundings with convenient access to modern amenities. Location: Southcentral Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Start Date: ASAP – 5-6 month long commitment highly preferred
Compensation: Make $16,000+ per month!
- $106.00 hourly rate
- $159.00 hourly overtime rate
- $159.00 hourly holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
- 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure), paid 8 hours at the regular hourly rate
Schedule:
- 5-6 month long commitment highly preferred
- Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No Weekends
- No Call
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 11-14 per day
- Staffing Mix: Multiple APPs, Supervising Physician support, standard clinic support staff
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Certification
- Active BLS
- Active DEA registration
- COVID vaccination
- Current Flu Shot
- Minimum 2-years of Primary Care experience
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
