Location: Southcentral Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: May 4th – September 30th, 2026 (minimum 90-day commitment required)
Compensation:
- $98.00 hourly rate
- $147.00 hourly holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
Schedule: (minimum 90-day commitment required)
- 4/10s schedule
- No Call
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 15-20 per day
- Staffing Mix: APP, MAs, Nursing staff, Administrative staff
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Active BLS
- ACLS & PALS preferred, but not required
- Active DEA registration
- COVID vaccination with booster
- Minimum 2 years experience working as an APP
- Primary Care and Urgent Care experience required
- Must be able to see a full range of ages for primary and urgent care needs
- Experience working in women's health and pediatrics preferred
- Experience in Epic EMR is preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
