Travel Nurse (RN) – PC/UC/EM – Southwest AK – Summer Assignment!

During this 2-month long assignment, you'll be exploring Alaska during one of its most spectacular seasons, while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals, providing broad scope primary, urgent and emergency care to this unique and culturally rich community. Location: Southwest Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: ASAP start date with coverage through August
Compensation: $55.00 hourly rate
Schedule: 5 days/week total – schedule will rotate
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm
- Saturdays: 8:00am-1:00pm
- Call: 1 week of call per month (with the change to pick up more). Will be on-call with a PA or Physician
Facility Information:
- Patient Volume: Averages 15 scheduled patients per day and 3-4 walk-ins
- Patient Acuity: Broad scope (minor to trauma)
- Staffing Mix: 1-2 providers during the day, 1 RN, 1 part-time RN, 1 lab tech, 1 rad tech
- Services On-Site: CT, labs
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the State of Alaska
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Active TNCC preferred
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Emergency Care
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Experience with Medivac preferred
- Experience working in Alaska preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
