Location: Southeast Alaska
Job Type: W-2 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: December 21st, 2026 through April 22nd, 2027 (minimum 3-month commitment preferred)
Compensation: $100.00 hourly rate (make $64,000+ this entire assignment!)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- No Call
- No Weekends
Job Details:
- Patient Volume: Average 8-10 patients per day
- Staffing Mix: NP, MA, Physicians
- Caseload will be largely same-day walk-ins
Position Requirements:
- Any active US State Family Nurse Practitioner license accepted (Alaska FNP license preferred)
- Active BLS, ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- Full COVID vaccination
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in primary and urgent care
- Experience working in primary care with all ages
- Experience with simple procedures (suturing, I&D)
- Experience in general gynecology preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
