Location: Southeast Alaska

Job Type: W-2 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: December 21st, 2026 through April 22nd, 2027 (minimum 3-month commitment preferred)

Compensation: $100.00 hourly rate (make $64,000+ this entire assignment!)

 

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • No Call
  • No Weekends

Job Details:

  • Patient Volume: Average 8-10 patients per day
  • Staffing Mix: NP, MA, Physicians
  • Caseload will be largely same-day walk-ins

Position Requirements:

  • Any active US State Family Nurse Practitioner license accepted (Alaska FNP license preferred)
  • Active BLS, ACLS
  • Active DEA registration
  • Full COVID vaccination
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in primary and urgent care
  • Experience working in primary care with all ages
  • Experience with simple procedures (suturing, I&D)
  • Experience in general gynecology preferred
  • Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
