Locum NP/PA – Primary Care – Urban Southcentral Alaska
06265S – We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is able to offer a 3-6 month commitment for primary care assignments in Southcentral Alaska. Here, you’ll provide primary care, to an urban community on the road system with the full support of clinic staff in a modern state-of-the-art family practice environment. Location: Southcentral Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: August 2026 and Ongoing (3-6 month rotations preferred)
Schedule:
- 3-6 month rotations preferred
- Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No Call
Compensation: (make $50,000+ in 3 months!)
- $106.00 hourly rate
- $159.00 overtime hourly rate
- $159.00 holiday hourly rate (limited holidays apply)
- $106.00 hourly travel rate: 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure), paid 8 hours each day at the regular hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 12-14 patients per day
- Staffing Mix: Multiple APPs with standard clinic support staff and supervising Physician support
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Certification
- Active BLS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
