Locum NP/PA – Primary Care – Rural Southcentral AK
06285S – We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a primary care assignment in Southcentral Alaska. Here, you’ll serve a small community on the road system and will work in a modern family practice environment with a supportive team. The location is rural, but withing reasonable driving distance to larger urban areas. Outside of work, you'll the the opportunity to experience one of Alaska's most beautiful regions.

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: September 2026 and Ongoing (5-6 month commitment preferred)

Schedule:
- 5-6 month commitment preferred
- Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- No Weekends
- No Call
Compensation: (make $84,000+ in 5 months!)
- $106.00 hourly rate
- $159.00 overtime hourly rate
- $159.00 holiday hourly rate (limited holidays apply)
- $106.00 hourly travel rate: 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure), paid 8 hours each day at the regular hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 11-14 patients per day
- Staffing Mix: Multiple APPs with standard clinic support staff and supervising Physician support
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Certification
- Active BLS
- Active DEA registration
- COVID Vaccination
- Current Flu shot
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
