Locum Physician - Child Psychiatrist - SW Oklahoma

06358J – We have an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Psychiatrist in Southwest Oklahoma! This position is located in a vibrant and culturally diverse urban community with plenty of amenities. Location: Southwest Oklahoma

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: ASAP, pending credentialing with an ongoing need (minimum 3-month commitment required)

Compensation: Make $120,000 in 3 months!

• $250.00 hourly rate

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Patient Volume: Averages 12-16 per day
• Staffing Mix: Social workers, Behavioral Health Technicians
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including students
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric and adolescent behavioral health conditions
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Help identify and address Adverse Childhood Experiences during or shortly after pediatric clinic visits
• Provide ongoing psychiatric support and coordinate appropriate follow-up services
• Provide outpatient follow-up for patients with eating disorders following inpatient treatment
• Provide occasional crisis intervention for patients experiencing self-harm or other acute behavioral health concerns
• Collaborate with pediatric providers, social workers, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the care team
• Complete clinical documentation and administrative responsibilities within the allotted time

Position Requirements:

• Active unrestricted US State Physician license (any state license accepted!)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active BLS
• ACLS required only if providing service in the ED, ICU, or as a Hospitalist
• Active DEA registration
• State CDS license, if required by the DEA
• Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
• Minimum of 5-years post-residency experience
• Minimum 2-years experience working with pediatric patients
