Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: January 1st, 2026 and Ongoing
Compensation: $105.00 hourly rate
Schedule:
- 8:00pm – 8:00am (12-hour shifts)
- Rotation Schedule: 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 7 days off
About: This is a great Locum Tenens opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in rural Northwest Montana. This is a hospital-based position where you'll put your full scope of skills to work. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Northwest Montana, you'll also have access to incredible outdoor recreation during your time off.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Census:
- Acute/Observation: Averages 5-6 patients
- Swing Bed: Averages 2-3 patients
- ER: Averages 12 in a 12-hour shift
- Staffing Mix: RNs on at night, Lab & Imaging in-house, CT 24/7
- Day shifts are covered by Physicians who are available for calls after hours
Position Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with the State of Montana
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2-years experience
- Solid Solo ER skills required
- CAH hospital experience required
