Locum NP/PA - Family Medicine - Rural Colorado
Apply Now06452SM – We are looking for 2 Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) for locum tenens assignments in southcentral Colorado, running from early November 2026 through the end of January 2027. You’ll work a 4/10s schedule with no call, giving you three full days each week to recharge or explore the mountains. The setting is a small, semi-rural town where providers are valued and the pace of life leaves room to breathe. Date Range: November 2nd, 2026 - January 30th, 2027
We are looking for 2 providers total!
Job Specialty: Primary Care
Compensation: $99.00 hourly rate
Schedule:
- 4/10s schedule, set in advance (3 days of 8am-6pm, 1 day of 10am-8pm)
- Provider may be scheduled on weekends
- No call
Responsibilities:
- Scheduled family practice visits
- Walk-Ins
- Staffing Mix: 4 providers, Support staff
Position Requirements:
- Active Colorado State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Colorado State licensed providers already enrolled with Medicare & Medicaid preferred
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Solid Primary Care skills
- Suturing experience
