Location: Rural Northeast Montana

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: Start ASAP pending credentialing. 3-month minimum commitment required (possibility to extend to 1+ years!)

Job Specialty: Pharmacy

Compensation: $82.00 hourly rate (make $78,000+ in 6 months!)

Schedule:

• 8-hour days, exact shift times TBD
• Exact schedule varies based on working location and will be determined upon hire

Responsibilities: Full outpatient/ambulatory pharmacist

• Screen patient charts for medication order alignment with chart notes, labs, vitals, allergies
• Process and fill prescription orders; check filled orders for accuracy
• Educate patients on medication therapy
• Collaborate with pharmacy team and providers on drug therapy questions
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies and adverse medication reactions
• Answer/screen calls, handle refill requests, enter outside prescriptions
• Perform controlled substance audits as directed
• IV admixtures and inpatient drug distribution per client policy
• Administer immunizations (certification required)
• Complete annual safety/infection control and other mandatory training

Position Requirements:

• Unrestricted pharmacist license - any state
• PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy program
• Valid State driver's license
• Active BLS
• Immunization administration certification preferred
• 1-3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in ambulatory or inpatient care 
• Must be able to pass client's security clearance including fingerprint check and OIG exclusion list screening
