Location: Southeast Alaska

Job Type: W-2 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: Fall 2026 through January 2027

Job Specialties: Primary Care, Urgent Care

Compensation: make $27,000+ per month!

 Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• No Call
• No Weekends

Job Details:

• Patient Volume: Average 10-15 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: additional Physician, Pediatrician, FNP, MA, RN
• Case Mix: Patients of all ages - Family Medicine, general GYN, simple procedures (suturing, I&D)

Position Requirements:

• Any active US State Physician license accepted
• Board Certification
• Active BLS, ACLS
• Active DEA registration
• Full COVID vaccination
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in primary and urgent care
• Experience working in primary care with all ages
• Experience with simple procedures (suturing, I&D)
• Experience in general gynecology preferred
• Preferred experience in gerontology and/or internal medicine with a focus on adult patients
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
