Location: Northwest Arctic Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: ASAP post-credentialing with an ongoing rotation need

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No weekends
- No call
Compensation: Make $26,000+ per month!
- $930.00 regular daily rate (paid every day on assignment)
- $1395.00 holiday daily rate (limited holidays apply)
- 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure) paid at the daily rate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 10 patients per day (most appts 45 min long)
- Staffing Mix: 4 APPs, 1 Psychiatric Clinical Lead, Dedicated Nurse Case managers, Therapy & Behavioral Health Staff
- Case Mix: Common diagnoses treated - depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD
- Primarily working in a hub-clinic but may travel to surrounding remote villages as well
- Psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and medication management
- Primarily outpatient behavioral health care with some Inpatient consultations when necessary
- Collaborate closely with primary care, behavioral health, therapy, and additional clinical heams
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Certification (PMHNP or Psychiatric PA certification)
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Board Certification
- Active BLS
- Active DEA registration with schedules II-V
- Alaska State Prescriptive Authority through the AK Board of Nursing (for PMHNPs)
- Alaska bush experience highly preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
