06475B - We’re hiring four full-time Family Medicine/OB physicians for two breathtaking Southeast Alaska communities, one urban and one rural. The choice is yours! Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: $263,764 - $293,071 (DOE)
• Additional wRVU productivity and quality incentives
• Up to $60k Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available with a 3-year commitment

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Telemedicine work included
• 4 weekly administrative hours
• Additional hospital and call responsibilities
• Call: Responsibilities vary by location

Responsibilities

• Patient Volume: Varies by location but averages 12-18 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: One MA per Physician, dedicated OB/Primary Care nurse manager, Nurse Triage, Nutritionist, Hospital-Based clinical support
• Manage longitudinal primary care panel across the lifespan, provide prenatal and obstetric care, attend deliveries, manage newborns and pediatric admissions, and participate in shared obstetric and pediatric call rotations. Provide guidance and clinical oversight to APPs, coordinate referrals, participate in quality improvement, and maintain EMR documentation. Procedures may include colposcopies, circumcisions, wound care, abscess drainage, cyst removal, and women's health procedures. Occasional long-term care, home visits, rural outreach, evening/weekend clinic, or hospitalist duties may be required.

Position Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Alaska MD or DO license or willingness to obtain
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certification
• STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum 2+ years experience. Experience providing prenatal care and women's health experience required
• Rural health and Alaska Native health experience beneficial
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
