Locum NP/PA – PC/UC- Southern Coastal AK!
06272D – Experience one of Alaska's most beautiful places while providing care to this wonderful and friendly community on the road system! Fun town, with a lot of amenities, things to do and great places to eat. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care and urgent care coverage, no call, no weekends, M-F, so plenty of time to go explore and enjoy the area.
Location: Southern Coastal Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: July 27th – October 30th, 2026
Compensation:
- $100.00 hourly rate
- $150.00 hourly overtime rate
- $150.00 hourly holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
- 2 paid travel days, paid 8 hours at the regular hourly rate (1 arrival, 1 departure)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (some days may have extended hours to 7:00pm)
- No Weekends
- No Call
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 10-14 patients per day
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Board Certified
- Active BLS, ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- Strong primary care and urgent care experience
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
