Locum NP/PA – Primary Care – Southcentral Alaska

Location: AK Road System-Southcentral Alaska
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: July 6 – August 31, 2026
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No Holidays, No Call
Compensation:
- $93.00 hourly rate
- 2 paid travel days, paid 8 hours at the regular hourly rate (1 arrival, 1 departure
Facility Information:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient primary care clinics across 3 locations
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Minimum 12 / Maximum 20 patients per day
- Staffing Mix: Full clinic staff support including nurses, MAs (who serve as scribes for locum providers), radiology, and pharmacy; typically 2 providers on simultaneously
Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- AK Medicare and Medicaid enrollment required to start in July
- Active BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of experience; primary care background preferred
- Must be able and willing to see patients of all ages
- Must be comfortable practicing within a Christian faith-based mission context
