Locum NP/PA – PC, EM – Interior AK, Bring a Family Member!
06138D – Bring a family member or friend with you! Experience remote interior Alaska while providing high-quality medical care to a community that needs you. This is a solo-provider site with office support staff and most often one health-aide. Pay is 7 days per week to see approximately 4-6 patients per day in clinic M-F and call nights and weekends. You'll see a diverse range of patients of all ages. The clinic is brand new and sits along the banks of Alaska's largest river. This position will continue into 2027 rotating month on, month off, opposite another WMS provider.

Assignments:
- August 7th – September 15th
- October 15th – November 13th
- December 15th – January 15th 2027
- Rotate Month on Month off opposite another provider in 2027
Schedule:
- Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Call: Every day in the village – call volumes tend to be light in volume
Compensation:
- $770.00 daily rate (paid every day on assignment)
- $115.00 hourly call back rate, starts immediately upon return to the clinic after hours
- 2 paid travel days, paid at the regular daily rate (1 arrival, 1 departure)
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 4-6 per day
- Patient Volume, Call: Averages 4 per week
- Health Aide on-site
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with the State of Alaska
- Active BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- ATLS preferred, but not required
- Active DEA registration
- OB & Peds experience preferred
- Alaska Bush experience highly preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
