Locum NP/PA – EM/Inpatient/UC – NW Montana
06047M – NP/PA Locum Position in one of the most beautiful parts of Montana and close to some fabulous well-known scenic spots. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage at a CAH in early July. This assignment is primarily for ER coverage and Inpatient rounding, with some outpatient urgent care included. This position will require you to treat patients as a solo provider, with RN support staff available. Volumes in ED and Inpatient setting tend to be low. Schedule:
- Weekday Shifts: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Weekday ER Call Shifts: 5:00pm – 8:00am
- Weekend ER Call Shifts: Friday, 5:00pm – Monday, 8:00am
Compensation:
- $100.00 regular hourly rate
- $68.00 on-call hourly rate
- $150.00 regular holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
- $102.00 on-call holiday rate (limited holidays apply)
Responsibilities:
- Emergency Medicine (including procedures), Inpatient/Swing and LTC rounding. May see Urgent Care patients in-clinic.
- Patient Volume, ER: Averages 3-4 patients per day
- Patient Volume, LTC: Averages 17 patients per day
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with the State of Montana
- Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS & PALS
- Active DEA registration
- Actie ICEC
- Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum emergency experience
- Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
