This position is Monday – Friday, no weekends, and no call. You'll be joining a supportive team, dedicated to their community. Although the location is rural, it is on the road system, so driving to larger urban areas is feasible. Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- No Call, No Weekends
Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: Averages 12 per day
- Staffing Mix: RN, MA, Physician on-site
- Travel to cover at sister clinic may be required
Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
- Active BLS, ACLS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum primary care and urgent care experience
- Must have good primary, chronic and preventative care experience
- Experience with Medivac preferred
- Alaska bush experience preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
